A new outpatient center is located right at the corner of Surfside Blvd and Veterans Pkwy. Opening hours Mon-Fri 7am to 5pm with plans to open 7 days a week starting october.

Pine Island Road - Widening Completed
Pine Island Road (State Road 78), from Chiquita Boulevard west to Burnt Store Road, became a four-lane divided highway officially when city and state officials cut a ceremonial ribbon in front of
Bubba's Roadhouse and the German American Social Club.
WalMart already has announced plans to build a Super WalMart along the stretch of new road, which completes four lanes on SR 78 all the way to I-75.

Summer season at SWP has started. From May 29th until Aug 17th the park is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
